Aesop’s Modern Fables Cover

Stone Skin Press has revealed the cover to their upcoming short story collection The Aardvark and the Lion: Aesop’s Modern Fales coming out this Christmas.

They asked me to submit a short story and illustrate the cover art for the book. I had fun putting together a digitally inked piece in a turn of the century style with the two animals clacking away on their laptops.

    The cover art is delightful! Robin was great to work with, fun, polite, competent. Honestly, these don’t always go hand in hand. I’m really looking forward to seeing this book. If it is ready in time I’d be happy to bring copies to World Fantasy Con in Toronto!
